The following is the course outline with links to the materials for the IoT Skills and Platforms short course. For this course, the fees will cover the electronics, which will be yours to take home after the course is complete. The only things that we require that you bring are:

  • A charged smartphone (Android or OSX)

Pre-course prep

Complete the Cisco Connecting Things Reading - No requirement to complete the activities, we will do our own set face to face

Day 1

Homework

  • Link Brilliant smart plug with IFTTT or voice assistant

Day 2

Optional Post workshop Asesssment

Produce a 10-minute video presentation video describing and documenting your IoT project. This project should clearly show how some aspect of the equipment and the skills from this course has been integrated into your home life or work.
